The Darbandikhan Dam (Kurdish: Bandawie Darbandixan) is a multi-purpose high-zoned embankment dam located on the Sirwan River in northern As Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Iraq. The purpose of the Darbandikhan Dam is for recreation, irrigation, flood control and hydroelectricity.

The dam was constructed by a joint venture of US and European firms around from 1956–61 and its power station in 1992-1994 by a Japanese firm. The dam has a three-bay, gated spillway that terminates in a ski jump and plunge pool with a maximum outflow of 11,400 cms. The dam's power station contains three units with a capacity of 249 MW and discharge of 330 cms was designed by a Russian firm and constructed by a Japanese firm in 1992/1994. Since 1992, the project has been used to distribute power in Iraqi Kurdistan.
