Dante Bernini was born in La Quercia, Italy, ordained a priest on August 12, 1945. Riboldi was appointed auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Albano as well as titular bishop of Assidona on October 30, 1971 and ordained December 8, 1971. Bernini was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Velletri on July 10, 1975 along with bishop of the diocese of Diocese of Segni. On October 30, 1981 Bernini was appointed bishop of the newly created Diocese of Velletri-Segni. Bernini was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Albano on April 6, 1982 and would retire from the diocese on November 13, 1999.
