Danny Stewart (born April 23, 1985 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada) plays for Basingstoke Bison in the Elite League. Danny is 5 ft 11 in (1.80 m) and weighs 188 kilograms (410 lb). Previous Clubs: Rimouski Oceanic (QMJHL), Prince Edward Island Rocket (QMJHL), Utah Grizzlies (ECHL), Bakersfield Condors (ECHL)
23 year old Canadian Danny Stewart joined the Basingstoke Bison for his debut season in the UK for the 2007 season. Stewart played for five seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where with Rimouski Oceanic he won the QMJL Championship in 2004/05 as well as having two 50 point plus seasons. He then played for the Prince Edward Island Rocket and returned impressive numbers of 67 points in 58 games. In 2003, he was a fourth round draft pick by of the Montreal Canadiens (123rd overall). Last season Danny played his first season as a professional hockey player, icing for the Utah Grizzles in the ECHL where he finished third in the club's scoring race with 33 points from 52 games.
