Daniel Charles Shay (November 8, 1876 - December 1, 1927) was a professional baseball player. He played all or part of four seasons in Major League Baseball, for the Cleveland Blues in 1901, the St. Louis Cardinals from 1904 to 1905, and the New York Giants in 1907, primarily as a shortstop.[1]
