Danny Richard Briggs (born 30 April 1991 in Newport, Isle of Wight) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Hampshire. He is a right-handed batsman and bowls slow left-arm orthodox.

Briggs made his one-day debut on 12 May 2009 against Nottinghamshire during the 2009 Friends Provident Trophy. He made his first-class debut against Somerset in the 2009 County Championship at the Rose Bowl.

On 14 August 2009 Briggs was called up to the England U-19 squad to play against the Bangladeshi U-19 team during Englands winter tour to the country. Briggs represented England U-19 in the 2010 U-19 Cricket World Cup, where in a match against Afghanistan U-19 he was awarded the man of the match for bowling figures of 3/15, helping bowl the Afghans out for 126.

After consistent performances for Hampshire in domestic limited overs games, Briggs was called up to the England squad to face the West Indies in two t20 internationals at the end of September 2011.
