Danijel Kosovac

Danijel Kosovac (born 21 February 1989 in Basel) is a Swiss footballer of Serbian descent who plays for Real Zaragoza and for the Youth Switzerland national football team as a midfielder. He plays as an attacking, central or left wing midfielder, where he demonstrates his acceleration, range of passing, vision and amazing technique.

Kosovac agreed transfer terms with Real Zaragoza on 3 June 2008 on a 3 year contract. He was the first of many summer signings for coach Marcelino Toral.

He didn't decide yet if he plays for the Senior Serbia or Switzerland national football team.

Kosovac can play with both feet, and combines this with his swift offensive positioning off the ball. His complex game brought him consistent success in the Swiss Football, as recognised when he was signed by Real Zaragoza in July 2008. His best role is as a central playmaker and during his time at FC Basel, he proved his ability to play as an attacking midfielder.
