Danièle Sallenave Born 28 October 1940
Angers, FranceNationality France Danièle Sallenave (born October 28, 1940 Angers) is a French novellist and journalist. In April 2011, she became a member of the Académie française.[1][2]
She won the Prix Renaudot in 1980 for her novel Les Portes de Gubbio.
Danièle Sallenave est normalienne et agrégée de lettres. Universitaire, elle a longtemps enseigné la littérature.
