Adler won a silver medal for Brazil at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles in yachting, sailing class, in the mixed three-person keelboat, with Torben Grael and Ronaldo Senft.[1][5][7][8] He also competed in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul (coming in 5th) and the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona (coming in 13th).[4]
He is the brother of Olympian, who competed in in the Olympics in 1984, 1988, and 1992 for Brazil in the Mixed Two-Person Heavyweight Dinghy.[4] His niece is Brazilian Girl’s 29er Daniela Adler Pimentel Duarte.[9]
