Dane Chalfin

Dane Chalfinis one of the UK's leading contemporary vocal coaches working in music, theatre and television. He is Principal Lecturer in Pop Voice at Leeds College of Music [1] and a director of the British Voice Association [2].

In 2010 Dane became the first ever contemporary vocal coach granted a permanent contract with the National Health Service as Vocal Rehabilitation Coach at University Hospital South Manchester, working under Sue Jones, Head of Speech, Voice and Swallowing; and Mr Phil Jones, Consultant Laryngologist.

Dane is regularly invited to present his work at international voice conference. His current research areas include Primal Sound, Extreme Voice-Use and Rehabilitating Injured Singers.
