Dandiwal

Dandiwal

The Dandiwal are a Jat clan found in the state of Haryana in India.

According to the tribe's tradition, the Dandiwal are of Chauhan Rajput descent, who are said to have immigrated from Jaisalmer in Rajasthan to Sirsa and Hissar in the 15th Century. Like many other Jat clans, in addition to being Hindu, they practice ancestral worship. Their customs are similar to other Jats in Haryana. [1]
