Dan Solomon

Dan Solomon (born 1972) is known for his work in the fitness and bodybuilding industry, most notably in the development of new media.

Biography

Born in 1972 in Miami, Florida

A 1995 graduate of the University of Hartford; According to Bodybuilding.com, the fitness industry's online resource, "Solomon has emerged as one of the most visible members of the bodybuilding media. In 2005 he developed the "Pro Bodybuilding Weekly" international radio show as a way to bring the sport to a worldwide audience." Solomon also studied broadcasting at the University of Miami in 1994.

The following is a list of Solomon's credits in the fitness/bodybuilding business:

1999: Establishes talent management firm "PMG" to promote & manage international bodybuilding and fitness celebrities.

2005: Creates "Pro Bodybuilding Weekly" the first talk radio show devoted to professional bodybuilding.

2006: Named "Most Creative of the Year" by Ironman Magazine

2006: Sports nutrition and supplement company, MuscleTech, establishes exclusive sponsor deal with Solomon's international bodybuilding radio production.

2007: Named to Press Commission of International Federation of Bodybuilders.

2007: Completes agreement with Weider Publications to serve as exclusive radio partner to Flex Magazine.

2007: Conducts first of several interviews with Arnold Schwarzenegger for exclusive bodybuilding related discussion with the California governor.

2007: Signs on as talent coordinator and host for the IFBB's Worldwide Webcast productions (provided by Bodybuilding.com)

2007: Invited to serve as host of the annual "Mr. Olympia" Press Conference - Las Vegas, NV

2008: Receives IFBB "Lifetime Achievement Medal" (IFBB's Highest Honor) presented by bodybuilding pioneer Ben Weider
