He is a representative in the Croatian Parliament with the Istrian Democratic Assembly.
He lives in Buje.[3] Kajin platforms for a radical decentralization, which would give Istria autonomy similar to Vojvodina.[4]
Kajin was the IDS candidate in the Croatian presidential election, 2009. He won 3.87% of the vote in the first round and was eliminated.
