- Dalian px incident

Dalian PX Incident was a peaceful public protest in People's Square Dalian, to protest against a dangerous PX (paraxylene) chemical factory built in Dalian city. The protest took place in August 14, 2011.[1]
On August 8, typhoon Typhoon Muifa (2011) impacted Dalian city and threatened a leak in the PX factory. After that, people in Dalian organised a stroll in People's Square through Weibo, Chinese Twitter, and Internet forums to spread the message. On August 14, tens of thousands of people gathered in the Square to protest.[2]
The people's demands

- .Make the incident public to all media
Government's compromise
On the afternoon government agreed to move the factory out of city. But the date and place of relocation reminded unknown.
Influence
This is largest assembly in big cities of north China after June 4 Incident of 1989. It shows that people can use non-violent and reasonable method to protect themselves the corrupt China Communist Party
