The Dalgety bone bead is a square sectioned, burnt bone fragment with a perforated hollow through the middle.^[1][2]

It was found during archaeological excavations near Barn Farm in Dalgety, Fife, Scotland by Trevor Watkins. It has been suggested to form part of a prehistoric measuring rod and tangible evidence of the megalithic yard.^[1] It measures 32mm and is suggested to date to the Bronze Age.^[1]
