Dalal Bruchmann Born Austria Occupation Actress Musician Years active 2007–present Dalal Bruchmann is an Austrian film and television actress and musician. She is known for her roles in television shows Die Geschworene[1] and SOKO Donau.[1] She has also been a visual effects artist on Disney's Sonny with a Chance and 90210.[2] Dalal recently landed a leading role as Katelyn the much anticipated Into the Darkness.[3] Her ancestor Franz von Bruchmann was a lyricist for Franz Schubert.
She is also a longtime musician having attended the prestigious Broadway Connection music school at the age of 12. Her debut single "Taste the Night" was released digitally on March 1, 2011.[4] Several other unreleased tracks can be heard on her MySpace page.[5] A behind the scenes video was made from a recent photo shoot for the song "This Is The Time" and is viewable on YouTube.[6]
Dalal is also very active on social networking sites MySpace, Facebook and Twitter. She was recently featured on the popular music site iLike. She often corresponds with fans in both English and German.
Her debut single "Taste The Night" was released digitally on March 1, 2011.[7] Many remixes, including Tony Moran, MotoBlanco and Joe Bermudez were released digitally on June 7, 2011[8]. A video was shot in Los Angeles and premiered on AOL Music May 26, 2011.[9] The video was added to her YouTube channel May 31, 2011 and was one of the most watched videos during that peroid and now has well over 1.2 million views.[10]
The single entered at number 5 on the Billboard Breakout chart and number 8 on the UK's Music Week's Upfront Club and Commercial Pop Club Charts.[11]
Dalal performed "Taste The Night" at the 2011 New York Fashion Week and Couture Fashion Week in New York[12].
She currently lives in New York City.
