The club is the designated U-18 team of K-League club Daegu FC, and currently participates in the High School Club Challenge League.

History
Hyunpung High School operated a football team from 1965 to 1974.[1] They are a 2 times national tournament runner-up, as well 15 times winner of the Daegu Gyeongbuk area tournament.[2] After 35 years following their dissolution, Hyunpung High School formally re-established its football team by forming an association with Daegu FC on 18 February 2009.[3] The team participated in the 2009 edition of the U-18 Challenge League, finishing 7th (and last) in group B.
