Daddy Pig

Daddy Pig

Daddy Pig is a character in the children's animated TV series, Peppa Pig. He is the husband of Mummy Pig and the father of Peppa and George Pig. He works with Mrs Cat and Mr Rabbit in a top floor office. His job is "quite complicated - I take big numbers, transmute them, and calculate their load bearing tangents."[1] He appears to be either an architect or an engineer, as in one episode he has an overdue library book about concrete[2], whilst in two others he is shown to be working on plans for domestic housing.[3][4]. Daddy Pig claims to be an expert in many things and despite his girth, he is shown to be an accomplished diver. He is also the Olympic puddle jumping champion. Daddy Pig is good at fixing things, usually by switching them off and on again and he believes that the French language is 'nonsense'. Daddy Pig is voiced by Richard Ridings.
