D425 is a state road connecting Ploče and the D513 state road near Mali Prolog.^[1]

The road serves as a connecting road between the A1 motorway Ravča interchange to the Port of Ploče. A portion of the road is executed as a four-lane expressway, which is planned to be extended in future to the new Ploče interchange^[1] of the A1 motorway.^[2] The road is 9.5 km (5.9 mi) long.^[3]

The road, as well as all other state roads in Croatia, is managed and maintained by Hrvatske ceste, state owned company.^[4]

	D513 south of Mali Prolog, to Vrgorac and the A1 motorway Ravča interchange.[1] This intersection is considered to be temporary, as the expressway is planned to be extended to the A1 motorway Ploče interchange, which is expected to be completed in 2013.[1][2] The northern terminus of the road.
	The northern terminus of currently developed dual carriageway expressway to the Port of Ploče. The expressway is scheduled to be extended further north.
	Zmijarevići Tunnel Two tube, four-lane tunnel. The tunnel tubes are 200 m (660 ft) and 400 m (1,300 ft) long respectively.
	Ploče rest area (planned)
	Radonjić Viaduct Four lane viaduct, executed as two parallel structures. The structures are 288 m (945 ft) and 310 m (1,020 ft) long respectively.
	The southern terminus of currently developed dual carriageway expressway to the Port of Ploče.
	Petrovac Tunnel The tunnel is 497 m (1,631 ft) long.
	Medak Tunnel The tunnel is 341 m (1,119 ft) long.
	D48 to Port of Ploče (to the west) and to Dubrovnik via Klek border crossing[5] and Opuzen via the D9 state road (to the east). The southern terminus of the road.
