D. B. Grady is an American author and writer hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana[1] He is known for writing the book Red Planet Noir, which won the 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Awards for Science Fiction.[2] Grady, a former paratrooper with U.S. Army Special Operations Command[1] and a veteran of Afghanistan,[3] also contributes political essays to The Atlantic.[4]
