Czarny Kierz — Village — Coordinates: 54°5′N 20°39′E / 54.083°N 20.65°E Country Poland Voivodeship Warmian-Masurian County Lidzbark Gmina Kiwity Czarny Kierz [ˈt͡ʂarnɨ ˈkʲɛʂ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kiwity, within Lidzbark County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) west of Kiwity, 6 km (4 mi) south-east of Lidzbark Warmiński, and 35 km (22 mi) north of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).
