Cyndi Tebbel (born 1957) is an Australian editor, journalist, author and feminist commentator. She is currently a freelance journalist for a number of magazines and has written two books.

Career
Tebbel was born in the United States and grew up in Chicago, migrating with her family to Australia as a teenager. Tebbel then completed a visual arts degree followed by a Communications degree at the University of Technology, Sydney. She started work as a writer for Vogue Australia from 1985 to 1987, leaving to become the editor of New Woman magazine.
She is best known for putting plus-size models on the cover of New Woman magazine. In 2000, she published her first book, The Body Snatchers: How the Media Shapes Women published by Finch.[1] Since 1997 she has been a freelance writer.
