Cyclone Prema

The name Prema has been used to name two tropical cyclones in the South Pacific. The name is Hindi for Love.

• 1982-83's Tropical Cyclone Prema – A Category 1 tropical cyclone (Australian scale).
• 1992-93's Severe Tropical Cyclone Prema – A Category 4 tropical cyclone (Australian scale) that caused $60 million dollars (1994 USD) in damage.

Following the 1992-93 season, the name Prema was retired and replaced by Pat.
