In 2001 Bill Gates awarded CyberWatcher as one of the global pioneers within .NET.[1]
In 2003 CyberWatcher was awarded with the European Seal of e-Excellence prize for its services.[1]
In 2004 Intellisearch, a company focusing on providing intelligent search services was spun off from CyberWatcher.[2] Intellisearch received PCWorld's award for the best IT product in the same year.[3]
In 2005 InterMedium, another Norwegian online news search and filtering provider, bought the portfolio of Norwegian customers from CyberWatcher.[4]
In 2008 Updatum AB was set up as a subsidiary of CyberWatcher, taking over its portfolio of partners around Europe. Updatum specializes on providing information-related services, while CyberWatcher has stayed as a core technology provider.[5]
In 2010 CyberWatcher was awarded with the European Seal of e-Excellence for the Business News Directory technology.[6]
