The Common Meadow Blue (Cupidopsis cissus) is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It is found in most of Africa, south of the Sahara.
The wingspan is 22-34 mm for males and 23-36 mm for females. Adults are on wing from September to April and May and sometimes in June and July in subtropical areas.[2]
The larvae feed on the flowers of Eriosema and Vigna species.

- Cupidopsis cissus cissus (along the coast from West Cape to East Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, inland along the Drakensberg foothills to Gauteng and the North West Province. Also in mountains in Mpumalanga, North West Province and Limpopo Province)
