Culture Palace of Abidjan Industry Culture Founded Abidjan,Ivory Coast Area served 12000 m2 Key people Sidiki Bakaba Products Fine arts Website Palaisdelaculture.ci Culture Palace of Abidjan ( Palais de la Culture d'Abidjan) is a prestigious temple of culture in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
The building is situated between the two bridges which are; Houphouet Boigny bridge Houphouët-Boigny Bridge and General de Gaulle bridge.
Culture Palace of Abidjan, with a capacity of 9,400 people, was bestowed to Côte d’Ivoire government as a gift from the China. It was inaugurated on 01/10/1999 during the official handover of the keys. The site it was constructed is 12000 m2.
Conducted by Sidiki Bakaba since the year of 2000. Sidiki Bakaba, was honored for lifetime achievement on 10/07/2009, in the Pan-African Cultural Festival in Alger.
Since 12 November 2002, the first F27 Fokker Friendhip airplane of Ivory Coast, which has a 16-person capacity, is transformed into a library for children books and annex events.
