Bulend Biščević (born
March 10 1975 inSarajevo ) is a Bosnian football player.He spent almost his entire career playing for
FK Željezničar . That is the club where he began playing football as a child, and in 1994 he started playing in a first team. At first, he played on a right back posotion, but in 2000, FK Željezničar's coachAmar Osim moved him to midfield. That is the position in which he showed his real qualities. He was a hard-working player who runs a lot and he was mostly oriented in destruction of opposite team's play. He had a good technique too, so he could, if needed, play in more offensive roles.In 2004, he moved to
Cypriot First Division side AEP Paphos. He moved toHajduk Split at the beginning of next year and finally, in 2006. winter transfer window, he came back to Bosnia-Herzegovina and signed forZrinjski Mostar . Before the start of 2006/2007 season, he retired from professional football at the age of 31.He also has 18 caps for Bosnia-Herzegovina national team.
