Crouch Island

Crouch Island (67°49′S 68°58′W / 67.817°S 68.967°W / -67.817; -68.967) is the second largest island of the Henkes Islands, off the south end of Adelaide Island. Surveyed by the Royal Navy Hydrographic Survey Unit, 1962-63. Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) for Alan Crouch, British Antarctic Survey (BAS) general assistant at Adelaide station, 1961–62, and member of the first party to winter on Adelaide Island.
