Vanhöffen, 1902Crossota norvegica is a species of jellyfish in the phylum Cnidaria in the genus Crossota. It is closely related to Crossota millsae. It lives 2,000 to 2,900 feet (610 to 880 m) under the Arctic Ocean.[citation needed]
Philatelic Error
Crossota norvegica appeared on a stamp issued by Canada in 2007 to commemorate the International Polar Year.[1] Unfortunately, the name on the stamp was given as Crossota millsaeare, an obvious misspelling of Crossota millsae.[2]
