Cristo Marrero Henríquez (born 10 November 1978 in San Miguel de Abona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife), simply Cristo, is a Spanish footballer who plays for UD Las Zocas in the Spanish fourth division, as a forward.

Football career

Cristo started playing football at local club UD Las Zocas, where he stayed for 17 years, never making it past the fourth division during his four seasons as a senior.

In 2001, he signed with neighbours CD Tenerife, but still went on to spend a further two years with its reserve team. Cristo made his Segunda División debut on 31 August 2003, against Deportivo Alavés, and went on to become club captain.

After appearing sparingly in 2008–09, as Tenerife eventually returned to the top flight after seven years (14 games, only one start and 169 minutes of action, one goal scored), Cristo moved clubs but stayed in the Canary Islands, signing with Universidad de Las Palmas CF in the third level. After two seasons the team folded, and the 32-year old returned to his first club.
