Craig Chrest is a former American college and professional football player who started his professional football career as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) in 1981. Chrest played college football for the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse,[1] and thereafter, he played professionally for the Green Bay Packers of the NFL.[2] Currently he is the principal of Top Gun Executive Group and head recruiter.
College career
Craig Chrest attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, earning an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Marketing. Also during this period, he played All-Conference football for four years and All-American for one.[3] Chrest played as a starting wide receiver in the NAIA Division I.[4]
Professional career
After earning top honors at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UW) and capturing a place in the UW Hall of Fame,[5] Chrest signed on with the Green Bay Packers following the 1981 supplemental B draft.[6] One of the most successful franchises in the history of professional football, the Packers have captured 13 league championships overall, more than any other team in the NFL. Currently he serves as a principal at the Top Gun Executive Group and has placed hundreds of executives in fortune 500 companies.
