Cory Allen (born February 1, 1976) is an American art dealer, publicist, filmmaker, poet and promoter.
Cory Allen created and served as the Director of the 2008 Vacant Era Film Festival in Norman, Oklahoma. He is the producer for the upcoming documentary ‘Domestic Bliss: The Daniel Edwards/XVALA Project’ by Oklahoman filmmaker Dave Smith.
Allen was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, where he was heavily involved with Speech and Drama and directed the senior play as a sophomore. He later moved to Tulsa to finish high school and returned to Lawton to work and attend Cameron University as a Theatre major. In 1996, Allen left Lawton to join the United States Air Force. While serving his career as an enlisted member, he began promoting local events and fundraisers while stationed in Florida. In 2004, Allen moved back to Oklahoma and became quickly involved with the arts and entertainment community throughout the state. In 2008, he received a degree from the University of Oklahoma and in the same year, Allen had created Vacant Era Films, LLC and Norman’s first film festival. In 2010, Cory Allen established Cory Allen PR, a public relations agency.

Cory Allen has been involved in many facets of the arts and entertainment community, establishing Cory Allen Contemporary Art (CACA).
Publicist
Clients include: Daniel Edwards, Ali Harter, XVALA, Marilyn Artus, Dave Smith, Tuf-Gi Productions, AppleParrot, Keltie Sparger, Phantom-Financial and others. In December 2009, Allen was featured in an article covering the famed house “The Brangelina” in Life & Style magazine [1] and on the infamous Perez Hilton website.[2]
Writer and poet
Allen has written many press releases covered by both major national and international media. He has announced the upcoming debut of his book ‘maybe’, a collection of poetry, thoughts and short stories. The release date for ‘maybe’ is scheduled for the spring of 2011 by New York publisher AppleParrot,LLC.
Producer
Allen is producing Oklahoman filmmaker Dave Smith’s documentary Domestic Bliss: The Daniel Edwards/XVALA Project. Smith captures “The Brangelina” collaboration of famed artists Daniel Edwards and XVALA. The documentary is a Vacant Era Films and Festival City Films production and is set for release fall 2011 in New York City, New York.
