- Corpse (band)
-
Corpse is a band from Moscow band formed in June, 1991. The original staff consisted of four musicians that played before in practically unknown hardcore and thrash bands. As the base of their creative work CORPSE took CARCASS’s style. That’s why we can say that they were pioneers of Grindcore in Russia as well as NECROK.I.L.L.DOZER.

History
In August 1991, a guitarist left the band leaving three guys in "CORPSE": Jeff – bass, vocal, Jus – guitar, vocal, Mike – drums. Exactly with that staff they recorded two demos: “Continuous Qualmishness” (March, 1992) and “Melodies of Necropsy” (July, 1992). In August 1992 Alex (guitar, vocal) joined CORPSE. In renovated staff the band has been actively playing on tour in Byelorussia and Russia. In October 1992 Mike left the band to form his own project – GORESLEEPS; Anders (ex- MISCARRIAGE) replaced him. With Anders CORPSE played a concerts in Kharkiv and began to record a new demo “Necroculinary”. After studio working, in April 1993, the band played at “Deathrider” festival in Moscow where they got the greatest support by fans as well as NECROK.I.L.L.DOZER. Just after that, musicians signed the contract with Russian label FINAL HOLOCAUST and began to record their debut mini-album “Remembrance of Cold Embodiments” that was the original combination of Grindcore and Death Metal with extraordinary double solos. Soon after recording Jus left the band and three of them again stayed together in CORPSE. Jeff replaced the guitarist and for the concerts musicians are going to engage a session bassist.
Corpse disbanded in 1994, and all information about it online is extremely scarce.
