Copper Queen Hotel

The Copper Queen Hotel in Bisbee, Arizona is Arizona's longest continuously operated hotel.^[1]

History

Construction of the hotel was begun in 1898 and completed in 1902.^[1] The Phelps Dodge company built it as a place for dignitaries and investors to stay when visiting the copper mine.^[2]

The hotel was owned by Steve and Marcla Hutchison and in 1977 it was sold to Rick and Virginia Hurt of Atlanta, Georgia.^[3]
