Set over three days,Confluence is IIM Ahmedabad's annual International Business School Summit.[1][2][3][4].
Centred around the speaker sessions, Confluence has several other management spheres to engage the participants. Marketing, consulting and finance case studies, quizzes, and business simulations promise to challenge and excite participants while at the same time providing them with a platform to showcase their expertise in the same areas. With a special focus on innovation and entrepreneurship this time, we have several events directed towards fostering and inspiring a need for a free and private enterprise. Confluence primarily then is a forum for discussion and interaction, to evolve Ideas for the India of tomorrow. To inspire future generations into making a definitive difference to the world. 20 years since liberalisation, as India stands today as crossroads, Confluence hopes to provide the ground for creation and understanding of this opportunity, to set the tone, for advancement and progress into tomorrow.

Campaign for a Cause
We are conditioned by a flawed sense of accepting problems as normal and thereby unable to recognize problems and initiate any meaningful action. An effective and powerful way of bringing public policy problems to limelight is by visual representation, particularly involving the use of multiple forms of media encapsulating these into a video format. To understand the gaps and the complexities involved in policy issues, we present before you Campaign for a Cause, a public policy video event.
Model UN
In Model UN, students step into the shoes of ambassadors to debate current issues on the organization’s agenda. While playing their roles as ambassadors, student “delegates” make speeches, prepare draft resolutions, negotiate with allies and adversaries, resolve conflicts, and navigate the Model UN conference rules of procedure – all in the interest of mobilizing “international cooperation” to resolve problems that affect countries all over the world
Corporate Combat
Corporate Combat - a one of a kind strategy simulation game that puts business acumen to the ultimate test. Step into the shoes of the top management of the firm, your team will consist of a bunch of CXOs led by a CEO. But no matter whether you are an Operations genius, a Finance wiz, or an ace Marketer, this concept will rattle your brains and challenge you every step of the way. The true hallmark of this game lies in its ability to model real life externalities - for instance hiring a consultant, political instability, quality issues, collusion between competitors, etc.
National Business Olympiad
The National Business Olympiad (NBO 2011) is being conducted in association with Smartsims Business Simulations across more than 30 cities throughout India.[6] The Grand Final will be conducted during the national summit, IIM Ahmedabad Confluence 2010.
