He was a member of the Canada men's national water polo team, that claimed the bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Playing as a driver, Kudaba was named MVP at 2005 Youth National Championships, and to the tournament all-star team at the 2007 Junior National Championship. He also was awarded B.C. Premier’s Athletic Award for water polo in 2006. Kudaba enrolled in urban studies at the University of Calgary. He was a member of Canada's Olympic Squad at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
