Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild is an independent and family private bank in France. Established by Edmond Adolphe de Rothschild in 1953, it has been directed since 1999 by his son, Benjamin de Rothschild. It is a part of Edmond de Rothschild Group.

Structure

La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild is the French banking subsidiary of Edmond de Rothschild Group, and is owned by Compagnie Financière Saint-Honoré, a holding company belonging to Baron Benjamin de Rothschild. The bank’s other shareholders include Caisse des Dépôt et Placement du Québec, which holds a 10% ownership interest.

The board of directors is chaired by Benjamin de Rothschild. They also take part of the board : René de La Serre, Ariane de Rothschild, Véronique Morali, John Alexander, Jean Dumoulin, Carlo De Benedetti, Claude Janssen, Claude Messulam, Daniel Trèves, François Boudreault.
