Name
CompNation's name came to Mark Filaroski(founder/CEO) while sitting at a small coffee shop in Hermosa Beach, California. He was thinking that 'Comp' could be both considered Comparable or Computer, and 'Nation' is expressed by his core desire to make it a worldwide company, while limited is as every country is a Nation. As the computer industry remains highly competitive for resellers, he thought what a better name is CompNation - as a place to shop to all computer and office products in one place. Hence, CompNation.com was born.[3] Compnation is out of business now.
