Commanding the Obscure Imperius is the second full-length album of Vitam et Mortem. It was released in July 2008 after a concert the band had with Obituary in April. It consists of 11 tracks and two bonus songs called "Yo Soy El Siguiente Muerto" and "Nacion De Sufrimiento". The band produced an exclusive music video for the song "Commanding the Obscure Imperius", which can be watched at YouTube and MyVideo.

Cover

The cover shows Mictecacihuatl sitting on a throne. Mictecacihuatl is a person in a aztec legend.

Touring

After producing that album the band went on South America-tour where the album was sold. The tour was called "Comandando la muerte a sudamerica" and it got most times successful critics in American metal magazines.
