Combat of Giants: Dragons, known as Battle of Giants: Dragons in North America, is a video game in the Combat of Giants series developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft in 2009 for the Nintendo DS.

Plot

Humans hunted dragons and there was constant warring between the two species. Finally, the Lord of all Dragons, Ninnurtu, gathered the noble Ebebu dragons and the foul Salmu dragons and used the combined power to create Tammabuku, their own world in which they could have peace. However, the Salmu dragons (evil dragons) soon stole the gems of the Ebebu (good) dragons, which was the source of all dragon's power. Ninnurtu, was powerless to stop them, since creating the new world left him powerless. The player is the last of the Ebebu dragon, and he/she has to win back all of the gems the Salmu dragons stole.

Gameplay

The game is controlled entirely through the touch screen. There are two main parts of play: exploration and battle. In exploration, the player explores the land, finding crystals and enemy dragons. Throghout the game, the player gains the ability to fly, breathe fire, stomp, and ram while exploring.

When the player gets near a dragon, a battle starts. In battle, the player moves the dragon by dragging it to different parts of their battle circle. They attack by flicking towards the enemy, and after attacking, they can a use special attack with the gems they already collected. They flick away from the enemy to block and flick to the side to dodge. To fly, the player double-taps their dragon.

Card Game

Each copy of the game comes with a booster pack containing cards. There are "dragon" cards and "gem" cards. The dragons are based on the dragons that you fight within the game in terms of appearance and names.
