Modor

Modor

Modor is a term coined by Daniel Greenberg. It describes the facilities used by living things to understand their environment and interact with it. According to Greenberg, the Modor is both every individual's personal world-view, and the tool through which one learns and interacts with the world around them. Greenberg discusses the Modor at length in "Worlds In Creation" (Sudbury Valley School Press, 1994).
