- College Sport Clubs
-
A growing phenomenon on college campuses, they are essentially student-run athletic teams that compete intercollegiately, but not under their respective school athletic departments. Most operate with student-government funds, usually some sort of activity board, and run out of an on-campus gym or fitness facility. Unlike varsity athletics, there are no scholarships; students participate for the love of their sport.
