Sir Colin Tradescant Crowe, KCMG (1913–1989) was a British diplomat. He served as the United Kingdom's chargé d'affaires to the United Arab Republic (1959–1961),[1] High Commissioner to Canada (1968–1970)[2] and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York (1970–1973).[3] Colin Crowe was born September 7 , 1913 in Yokohama, Japan, he was the son of Sir Edward Crowe, KCMG. He married Bettina Lum in 1938. He was educated at Stowe School and Oriel Coll., Oxford. From 1936 to 1938 he served at Embassy in Peking.
