History
The club was founded on January 5, 2006.[1] The club competed for the first time in a professional competition in 2010, when they participated in the Campeonato Mineiro Third Level, being eliminated in the First Stage of the competition.
Stadium
Coimbra Esporte Clube play their home games at Estádio Municipal José Flávio de Carvalho.[1] The stadium has a maximum capacity of 1,900 people.[2]
