He is also the nephew of former NBA player Al Eberhard, brother of North Carolina Tar Heels basketball player Tyler Zeller, and brother of former Notre Dame Fighting Irish player Luke Zeller.[1] Cody committed to Indiana in November 2010. In his senior year of high school, Cody averaged 24.6 points per game, 13.1 rebounds per game and 3.3 assists per game. Following the end of his senior season, Cody was named Indiana Mr. Basketball. He was also a 2011 McDonald's All American player. According to ESPNU Cody is the 13th best overall recruit in 2011[2] and he is ranked as the 15th best recruit by Rivals.com.[3]
