Southern Caspian sprat, Clupeonella grimmi, is a species of fish in the Clupeidae family. It is found in the Caspian Sea, in its central and southern parts. Brackishwater pelagic fish, up to 14.5 cm maximal length. Lives up to 32 m depth.
