Roster status: Active Career highlights and awards Clifton Geathers (born December 11, 1987 in Georgetown, South Carolina) is a defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He attended and played football at the University of South Carolina, but left at the end of his junior year.[1][2][3]
Clifton's brother, Robert Geathers, is a defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals and his uncle Jumpy Geathers also played in the NFL. His other brother, Kwame Geathers, is currently a red shirt Sophomore nose tackle for the Georgia Bulldogs' football team.

Cleveland Browns
Geathers was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the 6th round of the 2010 NFL draft.[4] He was released in their final cuts.
Miami Dolphins
On September 5, 2010, Geathers was awarded to the Miami Dolphins on waiver claims.[5] He was waived on November 26, 2010.
Seattle Seahawks
Geathers signed with the Seattle Seahawks on November, 27, 2010. He was with the team until he was cut on December 7, 2010.
Dallas Cowboys
Geathers signed with the Dallas Cowboys on December 8, 2010.
