Clemente Fernández López

Clemente Fernández López (born November 11, 1919) better known as Clemente was a Spanish professional association football player, who played as a defender.

He began his career as a midfielder at Hércules CF. He also played for Spanish sides Real Betis, Deportivo La Coruna or Real Madrid Castilla.

The most important part of his career was represented by the period he played for Real Madrid C.F.. He played a total of 109 matches in La Liga for Real Madrid, scoring once, and other 35 matches in Copa del Rey.
