Claytons Primary School is the only primary school in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire in the UK. The current headmaster is David Orford and the deputy head is Claire Garnett.

History

It was originally a combined school for years 3-6, with West Field school teaching year 1 and 2. The original school was next door to St Marks Church where there is now a warden controlled retirement home, and the bell was transported near to the community centre, where it can be found today.

In 2004 the name of the school was changed from Claytons Combined School to Claytons Primary School.

Orford was preceded as head teacher by Jo Lamprell.

Facilities

The school has extensive grounds and play areas, special needs programmes, a cooking workshop, arts and crafts area, a computer lab with 30 computers, and a library.
