Clarence Directed by Eric Till Based on "It's a Wonderful Life Starring Robert Carradine, Kate Trotter Music by Louis Natale Release date(s) 1990 Country United States Language English Clarence is a 1990 American film directed by Eric Till.[1][2][3] It is a sequel to the 1946 film It's a Wonderful Life. The film is set in the 1990s. The only continuing character from the original film was the guardian angel, Clarence, played by Robert Carradine. The plot is very similar to the original, with Kate Trotter playing the human who needs Clarence's assistance. The film was made for TV, and did not have a theatrical release.
