Claire Diaz Ortiz [1] (née Williams, born 1982) is an American blogger, author and speaker [2] who leads social innovation at Twitter.[3][4]
She wrote Twitter for Good: Change the World One Tweet at a Time [5], with a foreword from Twitter co-founder Biz Stone.[6][7]She holds an MBA and other degrees from Stanford University and Oxford University.[8]
She was a 2008 Skoll Foundation Scholar at Oxford University's Said Business School[9], the home of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship.[10] The Skoll Foundation Scholarship honors five social entrepreneurs per year with a fully funded MBA at Oxford University.[11]
She co-founded Hope Runs,[12] a non-profit organization in Kenya [13] she started after living in a Kenyan orphanage.[14]
